Gnostic Magick edition by Anousen Leonte Religion Spirituality eBooks

Anousen Leonte has a really well done formula, which is used in his/her lessons/books. The formula pulls from some Chaos Magick, along with the author's own feelings and experiences. In this particular lesson the use of Gnostic Intelligences are utilized. this fascinated me and really inspired me more than many other mystical/magickal works. I guess something in this path really pulls to my own interests on a very deep level.

Here, Anousen gives a brief description of a sigil technique they detail in another work. This is enough however to get going with Gnostic evocation. For the most part this is really Gnostic Evocation, and not so much the larger umbrella of magick. But the gems here could open the doors to flesh out magick through evocation of gnostic forces.

I myself tried the techniques and I had a positive experience. I do enjoy the work.

What you won't get here is a lot of detail regarding magick itself, nor much detail on gnosticism. If you come from a varied magickal background (like myself), you will be able to fill in the gaps here and there. For example, the author doesn't tell the reader how to banish. Instead the reader would either have to know this or do research to discover this on their own. The author gives some info on the Aeons of the gnostic mythos, but doesn't get too deep - again this is for the reader to research.

That's another thing I like about the work, it inspired me to research gnosticism more. This is a field I had very little working knowledge of. So I did take the time to learn more about Gnosticism.

Gnostic Magick edition by Anousen Leonte Religion Spirituality eBooks Reviews

Not very informative
This is just a skeletal outline of a system. Occultists used to fully develop a praxis and share it so others could work the system. Nowdays it seems there is a trend to just hint about how one could develop their own system without really going into any detail. Well, anyone who has spent much time working the Western Ritual Method will already know how to create a praxis and wont need this book which doesnt really offer anything useful or original. It would seem that if one would develop a sigil based on the Greek Spelling of the Aeons and use them in a Psychomanteum they would begin to receive rapid results, and this is basically all the author is saying... he gives a few sigils based on the English spelling and then says, try using these in methods of conjuration and see what happens.
This is a unique book. I have long thought about these esoteric and extremely obscure emanations that the ancient Gnostics spoke about and until I found this book I was never able to find any information on them. For that alone I would recommend reading this short e-book. I hope that the author writes more about Gnostic entities in the future because I will surely purchase any subsequent works on the subject that he publishes. However, the one thing keeping me from giving it the full 5 star treatment is there is some skimpiness in information pertaining to the colors and incense types that each being likes. The author could have made a difficult subject easier by sharing that information with us. He gives us the sigils for the Aeons but then declines to give us those pieces of information under the guise that we should experiment to find that out. Why? You wrote the book and we are reading it. You should tell us those things because the real experimentation that will be done is contacting the entities and asking them our own questions pertaining to their reality and what wisdom they are able to share. It is just stingy to not tell us something as simple as what colors and incenses these beings would prefer to receive.
a nd was stunned by some of it's content. I thought I was pretty well versed but now I need to question my original sources
